Where every child finds their spotlight

Spotlight School of Performing Arts is a performing arts school based in Blyth, Northumberland. We run weekly classes in singing, acting and dancing for children and young people aged 2 to 18, alongside holiday camps, workshops and full-scale productions. Our teaching is built around progress: every student is encouraged to grow at their own pace, whether they are stepping onto a stage for the very first time or preparing for a leading role. Classes are led by experienced performers and educators who bring professional industry experience into a warm, supportive studio environment.

This website is the school's home online. It exists to make it easy for families to discover what we offer and to get involved. You can browse our classes and pricing, check the weekly schedule, look through photographs from past performances, read about our teaching team, book one-to-one singing lessons, and place an order for official Spotlight merchandise. When you are ready, the enrolment form lets you register your child in just a couple of minutes, and our terms and code of conduct are published in full so nothing is hidden.

The site is for parents, carers and guardians across Blyth and the surrounding North East area who are looking for a creative, confidence-building activity for their child — and for the young performers themselves, who can see what is coming up next and what they could be part of. It is built and maintained by Spotlight School of Performing Arts Ltd, working with our own teaching and production team, so everything published here comes directly from the people who run the classes. If you have a question that the site does not answer, we would love to hear from you.
